This website is operated by Eastwind LLC ("Eastwind", "we", "us"), 28 W Fern Ct, Palatine, IL 60067, United States. EIN: 42-3185149. It exists to help professional drivers learn about and apply for driving opportunities with Eastwind.

Information we collect

When you use the application form we collect what you enter: your full name, phone number, email address, age, years of verifiable CDL-A experience, whether you are currently in a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) program, the state you live in, and whether you consented to calls and text messages.

The form saves your name, phone, email and age when you move to the second screen, before you finish. If you stop there, that is what we hold. We never ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, or a driver's licence number on this website.

We also receive standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the ad or link that brought you here.

How we use it

Application data is used solely to evaluate your interest in driving for Eastwind and to contact you about it — by phone, and by SMS if you gave SMS consent. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the website and our recruiting campaigns. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies & advertising

This site uses the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag to measure which advertisements lead to applications. They record page views and the fact that an application was submitted, together with a browser cookie and your IP address. Both are configured not to send Meta or Google your name, phone number or email address, and they do not do so.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or through your device's ad-tracking controls, without losing access to any part of this site or affecting your application.

Information sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and providing our services. These service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.

In practice that means the company that hosts our database, the messaging service that alerts a recruiter that you applied, and the advertising measurement described above. Your application itself is visible only to Eastwind recruiting staff.

SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared with any third parties or affiliate companies for marketing purposes.

We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect our legal rights. If Eastwind is ever sold or merged, driver applications may transfer as part of that business — you would be told before anything changed about how your information is used.

Text messages

We text you only if you ticked the consent box on the application form. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop them, or HELP for help. Withdrawing SMS consent does not withdraw your application, and we can still reach you by phone or email.

Retention & your rights

Applications are retained for as long as you may be a candidate for a seat, and are reviewed periodically. You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us at the address above, or by phone at (708) 683-7712. We will not require a reason, and asking will never affect an application in progress.
